Compliance markets are constantly evolving with increased targets and a decreasing cap over time set to make the market more efficient. Cosain has a team of dedicated professionals with extensive knowledge and experience in the mandated carbon markets. Cosain keeps members abreast of new developments within the carbon markets including benchmarking and auctioning rules, target increases and changes to MIFID regulations through a weekly newsletter.
Cosain allows members access to crossover allowances, such as Forestry Credits, through its voluntary market infrastructure. These are credits currently traded in the voluntary market, but are likely to be introduced into the compliance space.
Membership to trade in the compliance markets includes automatic membership to trade in the voluntary market, with registry accounts.
Cosain have built relationships with offset producers worldwide, which will allow our member’s access and a choice of CER's to suit requirements.
